This delightful bergerie has been newly restored. It is most unusual to have a detached property for two people with its own little pool.
The interior has lots of charm and character and is decorated and furnished in a mixture of contemporary and Provençal styles, retaining the original vaulted ceiling and stone walls. Air conditioning powered by a heat pump.
The house is situated about 3k from the village of Montauroux, but there are local facilities such as restaurant, supermarket and boulangerie within about 1k. The property is very well-placed for exploring the many ancient and picturesque villages of the Var: Montauroux has a colourful local market on the village square; Callian, about 5k, has a castle, a couple of restaurants and interesting local shops; Fayence is another nearby little town which has many artisans such as artists, painters and potters. Saint Cassien Lake, which is great for windsurfing and bathing, is about 6k. The area is ideal for walkers as there are many marked paths in the area. Other nearby activities include golf at the world class Terre Blanche course, 5k away, tennis and horse riding. The property is about 30k from the coast, either Fréjus or Cannes. Nice airport is 60k, about 50 minutes’ drive.

This beautiful apartment is in a superb position overlooking the harbour and close to the lovely sandy beach at Mandelieu-La-Napoule, just along the coast from Cannes. This is a beautiful stretch of coast with a fine sandy beach with restaurants and cafés overlooking the sea

Ideal if you do not want to hire a car as it is within walking distance of a good selection of shops and restaurants, as well as the beach, with excellent public transport for exploring the area.
The property is within two minutes walk of excellent restaurants, a boulangerie and a variety of local shops. One of the restaurants (L’Oasis) is particularly good and the boulangerie-patisserie has cakes made by a famous French chef. Supermarket 500m, railway station 500m with regular train and bus services makeing it easy to explore the area. Beach and the pleasure harbour 100m. This is a beautiful stretch of coast with a fine sandy beach with restaurants and cafés overlooking the sea. The harbour is a yachting centre and there is a sailing school with most water sports available. Riviera golf course 1k, tennis courts 2k. Cannes, world famous for its film festival and its lively night life is only a few minutes away. A bit further east is the lively town of Antibes while Nice with its art galleries, museums and beautiful old town district is about 25km, and beyond to Italy. To the west is Saint Raphael while Mougins, a picturesque medieval village renowned for its gastronomic restaurants is 11k inland. Nice airport 30k.
