A very charming old stone village house located in the popular market town of Le Bugue which is set on the banks of the River Vézère. Situated in a quiet lane in the old cobbled part of Le Bugue, this property has been lovingly restored by its owner to provide very comfortable accommodation in any season.

The property is light and airy and has the added advantage of its own courtyard garden, enclosed with high exposed stone walls.

Within walking distance of all amenities, including canoeing on the river Vézère, this property is ideally located for those who want to soak up the atmosphere of an old French town, including the bi-weekly open air markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Set high up in the heart of the vineyards around Bergerac, close to the village of Pomport, the property is a charming pigeonnier - built in 1340 - with uninterrupted views right across the Dordogne valley, countryside and surrounding vineyards towards the historic site of Montcuq where the 100 Years War started.

Being part of a small estate set in 11 hectares, guests have the advantage of using the grounds and large lake for their own use, and of course the stunning views.

On entering the property via a private driveway, the pigeonnier is set to one side of the main house. The large garden is mainly laid to lawn with colourful flowerbeds encompassing the property and an interesting selection of mature fruit and other trees providing pockets of shade.

The large lake is set below and boasts an abundance of wild life to watch and enjoy. The terrace alongside the tower overlooking the stunning view provides an ideal spot for al fresco dining. The gardens and terrace provide both sunny and shady areas throughout the day.

The property is comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard. Its elevated situation, combined with several French doors leading from each of the rooms to the garden, means it is delightfully light and airy.

This property is set amongst Bergerac wine terrors. It is ideally situated to explore the Perigord Noir, Sarlat and Périgueux to the east; Bordeaux, St Emillion and Castillon (place of the end of the 100 Years War) to the west.

There are regular markets close by including at Bergerac, Issegiac and the popular night markets at Eymet.

There is a small Carrefour supermarket, bakers, butchers and charcuterie just 5 mins drive away at Sigoulès, whilst large supermarkets and hypermarkets are to be found 10-15 minutes away.

A substantial old stone village house, set right at the top of Limeuil, with lovely views across the countryside. Limeuil has the accolade « l’un des Plus Beaux Villages de France » and sits on the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers where, for those who like the water, local companies offer canoe and kayak hire. Several restaurants/cafés, an organic grocery store, small shops and a market on Sunday mornings make this an interesting and historic village to explore.

The property is situated in the heart of the mediaeval bastide town of Belvès which offers a good choice of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Belvès itself sits high above the Nauze Valley. The covered market, held in the Place d’Armes, dates from the 15th Century.
